You have given us great comfort from all of your messages of support and made us very proud of the way in which Bertie touched so many of your lives with his love, commitment and friendship and you returned with such loyalty.

Bertie battled on tirelessly in his fight against muscular dystrophy, never complained, never gave up and continued to live his life with fun and laughter.
