I'm attempting to raise money to help Great Ormond Street Hospital (GOSH) to provide care for its young patients and their families. Several of my friends have at one time or another been indebted to the hospital as a result of their children needing the expertise only GOSH can provide and one very close friend of mine has been one of the hospitals regular patients for the last 15 years!!!!

I'll be dusting off my bike, dressing in lycra (try not to visualise it) and eventually, after plenty of training (honest) riding 100 miles in the 2018 PrudentialRide London next July. As well as this site I'll be fund raising at local Supermarkets and some rail stations while sat on a static training bike peddling away like fury. I'll post dates and locations when I get them. Should anyone wish to come and give their support (or abuse) it will be greatly appreciated.

Money raised will help by:

• contributing to the rebuilding and refurbishment of the hospital
• supporting ground-breaking research into the development of new treatments
• funding the most up-to-date equipment
• providing accommodation and other support services for children and their families
