On Sunday 12th September, I will be running the Brighton Marathon to raise money for Children on the Edge. Children on the Edge are a UK based international charity who work with children who are living without parental care, are pushed to the edge of their societies and neglected by governments, larger agencies and the international media.

Children on the Edge work in partnership with local communities all over the world to create protective environments where children can thrive. Projects include; education for Rohingya refugee children (Bangladesh), education for Dalit Children (India), transforming slum communities in Jinja (Uganda) and education for children in brothel communities (India). 

The work Children on the Edge do is life changing for many children all over the world. Without support from Children on the Edge, children are at risk of living in very dangerous areas without education or resources to thrive. Every child deserves a safe, happy childhood, no matter where they are born.
