Story

I am an 81 year old Great Grandmother with numerous ailments, having COPD and being partially sighted prevents me from do anything too adventurous. I have decided to walk 4 ‘laps’ of my small garden, every day for 26 days that will add up to 2.6k in May.

I may not be able to do all 4 ‘laps’ at once but I will, with aid of my trusty wheels, do 4 ‘laps’ a day.

I will be listening to “Walking back to happiness” by Helen Shapiro as I walk.

When I heard that Alzheimer Scotland was not getting anything like the usual amount of donations in this time of Lockdown I thought I would do a little something to give back. My late husband Humphrey had Alzheimer’s disease and Vascular Dementia, we were given support from the local Angus Service.

I know they do a great job and more and more people need their help.

Every penny counts. I hope you can spare a little something to help me raise my target of £260.

Thank you.
