Story
In appreciation to the support provided by Marie Curie Nurses, and in remembrance of Bernie, the McDonald family would prefer donations to their charity rather than flowers being sent to the funeral.
Marie Curie Nurses make it possible for people with terminal cancer and other illnesses to have the choice of spending their final days at home by providing free care at a time when families need it the most.
This service received was an invaluable comfort to our family and allowed Bernie to stay within his own home during his final days. Their expertise and emotional support made a huge difference to all members of the family.
Therefore in appreciation of his memory, and with an aim to support the continuation of this service for other families, any donations would be kindly welcomed.
Thank you for all your support
