I am a reluctant cyclist who enjoys the peace and the scenery but hates the hard work. However after raising money on a charity ride two years ago I have decided to do it again, and this time to raise awareness of Parkinson's disease and in some way contribute to helping find a cure. This disease has touched my life through a friend who has an outstanding attitude to life and is always great to be around and it is his inspirational outlook that has helped me to chose this charity for my fundraising effort. 'Murph' will be in my thoughts on the long climbs and the 430 miles from the bottom of Cork to the top of Donegal.
