Story

Hi,

We will be participating in the One Small Step Pub Walk (14 miles!) on 13th July, in aid of the Foundation for Prader-Willi Research UK (FPWR UK.) Exercise, I hear you say, yes, we are turning over a new leaf...

The charity is one close to the family’s heart as it funds research into Prader-Willi Syndrome, which Megan (my daughter) was diagnosed with at 6 months old. This event, along with others throughout the year, is organised to raise as much money and awareness as possible to help make the lives of those living with the syndrome more manageable. The syndrome is a rare, complex condition with individuals experiencing challenging behaviour, a variety of physical symptoms and learning difficulties. For more information about the charity and Prader-Willi Syndrome, visit www.fpwr.org or www.pwsa.co.uk.

Over the last five walks, Almonds pubs have raised £65,000 and we would love to be able to continue to contribute to this. Therefore any donation no matter how big or small would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you
