We provide help and hope to everyone living with dementia.

Story

My mum had vascular dementia until she passed away in October 2017.  It is such a cruel disease and hard to watch someone you love slipping away but we were extremely fortunate in that my mum remained happy and was well looked-after until the last.

I'm not a sporty person but thought I should challenge myself to do something before I turn 50 later this year.  Walking 100km is, now I think about it, quite a mad ambition to start with but it is too late to back out now so please consider supporting me and the fight against dementia by sponsoring me and sending me some much-needed good wishes!

Every penny will go straight to the Alzheimer’s Society, which is working so hard to fund vital research and to help support people with dementia.

Thank you so much.

At Alzheimer’s Society we’re working towards a world where dementia no longer devastates lives. We do this by giving help to those living with dementia today, and providing hope for the future by campaigning to make dementia the priority it should be and funding groundbreaking research.
