Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page.

This page has been created for the late BERNARD APPLETON and for donations to charities in his memory especially the Leukaemia Research Fund and also Prostate Cancer charities. Bernard was a much loved and well respected family man and licensee in St Helens and Blackrod - many of you out there will remember his love of life and sense of fun and him being a master of repartee and joviality.

Some of the Appleton family is taking part in the Forget Me Not Fund Sponsored Walk in Chester on Sunday 16th September 2007 so please consider sponsoring us and supporting good causes. Please see www.forgetmenotwalks.com for further details.

Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to donate: Leukaemia Research Forget Me Not Funds will receive your money electronically and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in Gift Aid will be added to your donation at no cost to you.

Please donate generously.

Many thanks for your support. With best wishes and much love from Bernard's many friends and family members.
