Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

Having undergone treatment for Breast Cancer in 2010 and Kidney Cancer in 2016, my mum was diagnosed with secondary Bone Cancer last year. After a pretty awful year, she is starting to get her strength, stamina and happiness back.

Samuel and I want to keep her company and walk the 10 miles, to show our support and gratitude to the Wessex Cancer Trust, as well as our love and dedication to Mum.

A couple of months ago, she could barely swim a few lengths, and is now up to a mile. Samuel is in training having walked 6 miles in strong wind and rain. My walking boots fell apart on their last outing, having sat in the cupboard for 10 years!
