The Great North Run is the world's largest half marathon with an incredible atmosphere. It's an amazing event to be a part of whether you're after a personal best or just wanting to be a part of something special.

Story

My mum, Ingrid, sadly passed away on March 3rd 2019 just 2 years after being diagnosed with bowel cancer. I am running in her memory and for my friend and Chambers’ colleague, Sharon, who was diagnosed with bowel cancer in 2021 and is bravely fighting this horrible disease. I hope to raise as much money as possible for Bowel Cancer UK.

Bowel Cancer UK is the leading bowel cancer charity. The charity provides expert information and support for everyone affected by bowel cancer and educates the public and professionals about the disease.  We're here to stop people dying of bowel cancer.
