Bentley's Roof Funday 2011

This year’s annual Bentley’s Roof Fun Day will be held at St Andrews FC, on Sunday 28th August from 11.00am.
As always the day will be centered around the Roof’s scaled down version of the European Cup Final, held between Bentley’s Roof Football Club, and some rabble from Cov who somehow managed to steal the ‘Harry Dog Memorial Trophy’ of us last year. This could have had something to do with the average age of the Bentley’s Roof team being over 65 and the fact that they only having five fully working knee joints between them! But this year the boys have been in training, they are fit and hungry and ready to bring the trophy back home where it belongs, to the Roof!
As always, they’ll be loads of stalls and side shows, rides and fun things for the kiddies. Plus a fully stocked bar, hot food and live music for the mummies and daddies. We’ll also have the usual LCFC raffle and tombola, plus a small smattering of LCFC legends. Well, we’re going try and kidnap Youngy and Muzzy, and drag them along to say hello.
It’s free entry, free to park, and a fantastic free family fun day out. We will have donation buckets about so feel free to drop some change in them. All the monies raised from collections, pledges and stalls will go to our adopted charity LOROS, who over the last two years we have managed to raise over £8,000 for, and we are hoping with the help and support of all you Roofers that we will make even more for them this year.
If you would like to make a straight donation to LOROS you can through this justgiving page. Or if you would like to run a stall, help on the day, or would like to donate anything for the tombola, please drop Mac a line on [email] or call Rupe on 07791 313 217.
