Ben Thapa - London Marathon 2021 for the Mental Health Foundation

London Marathon 2021 · 3 October 2021 ·
Most of you will know that I have a history with mental health and some will know I’ve had a history over the years of collaboration with the MHF. In these times, mental health is a moot point for us all and the MHF does amazing work exploring through research aspects of mental health. This research is one of the best things we can do in the current climate.
Earlier this year, I contracted Covid-19 - it’s taken a huge toll on my lungs and respiratory system, and I’m just back up and running. It’s a long road back to marathon level but I’m really looking forward to the challenge - there are no barriers other than the ones we impose ourselves.
I’m connected to Strava on here, so you can follow my progress!
For those of you concerned about the ongoing impact of Covid-19, the MHF have an amazing system: if the race is postponed again, my place, and all your donations, roll over to 2021, so there’s no risk in that sense.
