Story

I'm running in memory of my friend Alistair Priestley, who sadly passed away 20 years ago. Ali was part of a close friendship group who met at University of Warwick ('93-'96). We had many many fun times together. However, Ali suffered mental health issues, but kept these to himself. Thankfully times have moved on with the understanding of mental health issues and there is better access to support and prevention, however much of this remains funded via charitable donations. Let's keep the progress going and together let's raise money for The Mental Health Foundation.

The Mental Health Foundation is the UK's charity for everyones mental health. With prevention at the heart of what they do, the Mental Health Foundation aim to find and address the sources of mental health problems so that people and communities can thrive.

The Mental Health Foundation believe no-one living in the UK should be deprived of the opportunity for good mental health because of who they are, the community they come from or where they live. We’re developing better ways to support good mental health in every community.
