On the 2nd April 2020, on the brink of a global pandemic, my dear friend Alice had two beautiful babies - Bodhi and Peggy. Only problem was they were a staggering 16.5 weeks early and very, very poorly. Alice was told that babies born at this gestation have a 4 in 10 chance of survival - even less for twins. Bodhi and Peggy stayed in hospital for 5 months, and Alice was by their side every step of the way. They have smashed every single obstacle put before them since they were born. But tragically, not all babies make it home and thrive as much as these champs so we are joining this challenge to raise funds for the Twins Trust and to help other twinnie babies and parents. Climbing a mountain in the dark is simply nothing compared to the challenge Alice, Bodhi and Peggy have faced... It'll be a breeze.
