Story
On Friday 10th July 2020, I will be completing the Ben Nevis by Night Challenge - a trek through the night to the summit of United Kingdom's tallest mountain - to raise money for Alzheimer's Society.
Every single day I meet individuals living with dementia, or family members/friends with loved ones affected by dementia. And I'm sure you do to.
Dementia is not a natural part of ageing. Dementia is not just memory loss. Dementia affects every single individual differently. But with support from organisations such as Alzheimer's society, individuals can lead active, purposeful lives and carry on doing the things that matter to them most.
Please help me raise £400, a small contribution to an organisation that I can assure you makes real change to peoples lives. Any contribution at all, is so hugely appreciated - Amy x
Alzheimer’s Society - "is transforming the landscape of dementia forever. Until the day we find a cure, we will create a society where those affected by dementia are supported and accepted, able to live in their community without fear or prejudice."
