Story

Thank you for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

I am participating in a sponsored walk, as part of my duke of Edinburgh silver award, for my chosen charity JBD which is The Jewish blind and disabled organisation. I chose this charity because i have had the pleasure of meeting residents and also some of the remarkable volunteers who give their time so freely to support this worthwhile cause.

Cecil Rosen Court is the new JBD residential home that has been built in Bushey. It provides 41 state of the art mobility apartments for people of all ages with physical disabilities or vision impairment and gives the residents the best of both worlds enabling them to be independent but also gives them a great them a great support network.

Some of these people have suffered for a very long time and experienced some very difficult stages in their lives, but with all that is on offer from the JBD charity their lives have been dramatically improved.

This is a fantastic cause to be supporting even the smallest donations can make the difference and that is why I am asking you to please try to make a donation to support my walk for the JBD.

Thank you for reading this.
