JOURNO'S 180 MILE TWO DAY CYCLE RIDE
On March 25, 2009, Evening Post journalist Ben Wright joined two amazing guys' charity trek.
Michael Meredith and Terry Maloney, have had two heart attacks and cancer between them - yet walked 176 miles up Offas Dyke then cycling from North to South Wales. Ben Wright took part in the bike ride.
Proceeds from the fundraiser will go to The Mullany Fund, which gives financial assistance to medical students.
Evening Post writer Mr Wright said: "The reason why I'm doing this charity ride is The Mullany Fund is a cause close to my heart.
"I was born with a rare genetic condition called Cystinuria, which basically means I'm in and out of hospital because of the increased risk of kidney failure. I've had two operations to date and there's a good chance I'll be having more in the future.
"I owe my good health due to the doctors and nurses at Morriston Hospital and want to give something back to a charity that helps the very people I rely on."
