In Memory of Ben Lee

On Monday 18 January 2021, we tragically lost Ben; a loving father, a loyal and caring son to Linda, Ron and Ben’s late father Ray and a dear friend to so many.
Ben cared so much about those around him, their families, and every part of their life.
He lived life to the full; each and every one of us will have a long list of memories and stories that we will cherish for a lifetime. His energy, smile and enthusiasm were contagious to everyone around him.
Ben’s passing will leave a void that will never be filled. However, knowing that Ben is now at peace does provide some limited comfort.
Words simply cannot describe just how much we will miss you Ben. You had a huge impact and influence on all of our lives, and we will do everything we can to ensure your approach to life, your relentless energy and your legacy lives on in all that we do.
This dedicated page has been set up to support CALM (Campaign Against Living Miserably) and will act as a book of condolence for Ben’s family, friends, and colleagues to contribute to.
CALM is a leading movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under 45 in the UK and the cause of 18 deaths every day.
CALM provides support for anyone who needs it, not just men and they believe we can all help fight suicide.
CALM currently spends 80% of its expenditure on delivering their services: that’s answering calls and webchats on their helpline; working with communities across the country; and campaigning for better awareness and understanding of suicide and its devastating impact. Everything else is spent on keeping the charity running and fundraising to ensure we can help the hundreds of thousands of people who need their support every year.
CALM partners with the Support after Suicide Partnership, which offers support to people affected by suicide. If you need any further support or information, please contact them and they will try to help as much as they can (they aim to respond to your email within 72 hours).
CALM thank us for choosing to support them in memory of Ben. Their services are busier than ever, and they continue to be there for everyone who needs them, no matter what. Your support helps make this possible.
On behalf of Ben & his family; thank you all so much for your very kind and generous support.
