We aim to help every child with hemiplegia to reach their full potential

Story

Thank you for visiting my fundraising page. Please dig deep and sponsor me online. Donating through this site is simple, fast and totally secure. It is also the most efficient way to sponsor me: HemiHelp will receive your money faster and, if you are a UK taxpayer, an extra 28% in tax will be added to your gift at no cost to you. So please sponsor me now!

Hemiplegia is a neurological condition that weakens one side of the body, and affects up to one child in a thousand. It is sometimes described as a form of cerebral palsy, and the effects are similar to those of a stroke.

Many thanks for your support.  I'm currently doing a school readathon, and so far I've read :

Skulduggery Pleasant by Derek Landy

Milo's Run by Danny King

Spike Milligan's version of the Old Testament!

To Kill a Mockingbird by Harper Lee

Noughts and Crosses by Malorie Blackman

Brave new world by Edward Huxley

Stormbreaker by Anthony Horowitz and I'm hoping to finish The Inimitable Jeeves by P.G. Wodehouse very soon.

I am also raising funds for Alive & Kicking, a charity raising funds for children in Africa to provide them with hand stitched leather footballs that don't burst in the sun like plastic ones.  Please see the page I created here:
