Completed the 8.5 miles yesterday on the 10/06/2012 and I managed to do it within the target time of 1 hour. 58 minutes in total putting me in the top 100 out of 7000 people. Thank you all for your support and donations. Much appreciated. Ben.

I never really had a chance to get to know my Granddad as well as I would have liked to when I was younger, but throughout the stages of his dementia I got to know him and his funny idiosyncrasies very well.

 My Granddad was a unbelievably hilarious man and this made it so much easier for everyone around him. There was never a sad moment because he was always making us laugh. From his great escape down south to the reports of a gazelle like human on the continent, he was forever keeping us in raptures.

I'm doing this run on his behalf just so he knows everyone is still thinking of him.
