Story
I have walked a million steps in 100 days to raise money for my dear friends in Romania. These children were found with severe disabilities, neglected, and often tied to a bed in state orphanages. They were saved from these desperate conditions by Sarah Wade, a remarkable woman who set up a charity called Humanitas, in order to give these children Safe Homes. Given love and care, the children have flourished in their family-like environment and are unrecognisable from the battered and bruised children they once were. However, owing to the Corona Virus the donations that support these children have dropped drastically and there is a real risk of Safe Homes having to close. This would mean the children being returned to some kind of state intervention which is totally unthinkable. Please help me to raise money so that my friends can continue to live the safe and healthy lives they deserve. Thank you so much.

P.S. a million steps has been a real challenge for me. I was born with cerebral palsy and my mum and dad (who have walked with me) were told by the doctors I would never be able to walk. So I am privileged indeed to have been able to undertake this challenge.
