We fund ground breaking medical research to improve the lives of women and babies
Story
I don’t have many fallopian tubes, but if i did I wouldn’t want a cyst in one…
It’s not exactly a shocker to reveal that I have very little personal interest in the health of a lady’s reproductive anatomy and really, really don’t like words like uterine or cervical smear but it’s actually pretty important. Directly important to 50% of the population, and that means it’s important for all of us.
1 in 5 pregnancies still end in miscarriage and 2 million women suffer from endometriosis (google it - just don’t do an image search!). So I am raising money for Wellbeing of Woman who pioneer research into gynaecological health. I’m doing it with Rosie Bainbridge, who has persuaded me to do the one thing I vowed never to do - a Bungee Jump. I really hate heights and am bloody terrified, but it can’t be as scary as what she went through when we were at uni together. So when she asked I couldn’t say no, but I could use every bit of encouragement possible, so please give me a metaphorical push and sponsor me here. All donations will go to the charity.
Thanks, Ben
