Hello,
I've decided to do the London to Brighton cycle ride with only 4 weeks to go until the big event. I've been on my bike about twice this year so will need to immediately get out and do some practice. Think of it as a race between me and a train, and we don't really know who will win do we? Any little donations are much appreciated, I've got 4 weeks to reach the fundraising target, so everybody should have a pay-day by then :)
I don't really have an understanding of the scale of 54 miles, I think the furthest I've cycled in a day was a very flat 35 miles, and I still managed to cut my leg open, retaining a lovely souvenir scar. To make it all a bit more challenging, I have work late the night before and very early on the Monday afterwards, oh joy.
