Since I'm running the Great North Run later on in the year for the same charity, I thought I might as well get sponsored for doing this event too.

Its only 10k which isn't much of an event compared to the Great north, but any sponsors go towards a great cause. The charity I have chosen to donate towards was chosen by the colleagues of the Sainsbury's The Forge in Sheffield as our local charity. The store has been raising money for the charity for a while now, but hasn't managed to get a "wow factor" contribution. Hopefully the great north sponsors will, but this should give a good amount :) Please sponsor me, the event takes place on the 15th May in Manchester.
