BENIDORM BANGERS 2022!!!!
On 3rd May 2022 we (Richard F, Richard S, Richard S, Richard P and Simon P) will be taking part (along with around 70 other teams) in the Benidorm Bangers ‘’Run To The Sun’’ to raise much needed funds for the Yorkshire Air Ambulance.
It is a 5 day ‘Car Rally’ that will take us from Yorkshire, through France, Andorra and into Spain to cross the finish line in Benidorm (provided the car doesn’t breakdown on the way!).
As the name suggests we will be doing all this in a car that cost us less than £1500, but what a car it is! We decided to buy a Citroen C8 MPV to complete this epic journey and we have even had it wrapped
especially for the event!
Yorkshire Air Ambulance receives no Government funding. It is an independent charity that relies on the generosity of the public & organisations to keep it going. It provides a rapid and often lifesaving emergency service to 5 million people across Yorkshire and to keep both ambulances in the air they need about £4.4m a year. It is essential that we keep these ambulances in the sky so any donation big or small helps and will be greatly appreciated.
A special message to all company owners! – How would you like to advertise across Europe, well the countries we visit anyway, for as little as £100? That’s right - any business that donates £100 or more can have their company logo on the car! After you have donated, please email your company logo and strap line to: richard.sibley@csmgb.com and we will do the rest! A photograph will also be posted on the JustGiving page and social media.
The trip is entirely funded by us and 100% of all monies raised will go YAA

PS – If you were wondering if we will be driving home? – NOT A CHANCE!! The organisers have arranged for the car to be bought by a local car recycler so we will be flying home! We will, of course, be donating all monies received for the car to YAA.
By the way, we needed a team name, so we decided on FOUR DICKS AND A PADGE!!
