Story

Hi, I'm Ben, the CEO and Founder of Gymshark, and also the proud patron of the Birmingham Women's and Children's Hospital Charity.

I’ve long been in awe of the incredible work done by Birmingham Women’s and Children’s Hospitals. My Mum has worked as a nurse at the Queen Elizabeth in Birmingham all of my life, so I know first-hand how unbelievably hardworking they are and the impact they have on so many people.

In my latest video I experience the hospitals in person and witnessing the incredible, life-changing work they carry out—this truly opened my eyes to the significance of this challenge.

At Gymshark, we have undertaken many fundraising challenges, but this time, myself and the team will be embarking on one of the hardest challenges yet!

We're taking on the 3 Peaks Challenge, which involves climbing the highest mountains in Scotland, England, and Wales. This is the most highly regarded trekking challenge within the UK, and we're doing it all to raise funds for a new life-changing piece of equipment at the Children's Hospital - the iMIRI scanning machine.

Not only will we be walking the 3 highest mountains in the UK, the team and I, will also be documenting the journey for my YouTube channel!

About the charity

It's bewildering and unsettling for anyone going into hospital but especially for children and that is why we are a fundraising hospital. We raise funds to enhance the experience of our patients by providing state of the art medical equipment and facilities and creating a child-friendly environment.
