Last year my sister in law Davina told us that she would be raising money in memory of her brother Barrington Hawthorne who committed suicide in 1991 aged 14.

If anything was going to give me the impetus to run 26.2 miles this was it. This tragedy was obviously on my wife’s side but I believe we’re all impacted by mental health difficulties at some point in life, be it friends, family or personally so Davina's choice of Mind was a charity I could really get behind.

We have formed a 4 person team made up of Davina, my 2 brothers in law, Jake and Gaara plus myself. We all live in different parts of the country and are coming together in Brighton to raise money for Mind on April 2nd, 2023 (note that I am the weakest link in this squad!).
