Story
I’ll be running the London Landmarks Half Marathon in my mum's memory.
Beryl, my mum, showed huge resilience in her battle with Multiple Sclerosis (MS) all the way through my childhood up until she passed in 2020.
Any donations will support the MS Society's essential work, including providing assistance to those affected by MS and contributing to research, which will help make a positive difference to the lives of those battling MS.
Multiple sclerosis (MS) is an unpredictable condition that affects your brain and spinal cord as a result of damaged nerves. This causes a range of symptoms that interfere with how we move, think and feel. More than 130,000 people in the UK have MS. Once diagnosed, MS stays with you for life, but treatments and specialists can help you to manage the condition and its symptoms. The MS Society is here to help everyone live well by reaching thousands of people with help and support through their MS Helpline and local groups whilst investing in ground-breaking research to stop MS in its tracks.
