Story

My name is Ben and my wife Mary and I are teachers and strongly believe in inspiring children and adults to do and be better every day. We have been unable to have our own children so we aim to leave our legacy in other ways and right now we’ve embarked on a journey of 40 life changing challenges to complete before we’re 40 in September 2019. To follow our journey check out ‘This Messy Happy’ on YouTube, Facebook, Instagram and Twitter.

Some are mental challenges, some physical but all will push us and hopefully inspire others to embark on their own journeys. One of the challenges is to raise money for charity and one is to complete the London Marathon. And that’s where you come in... any donation you make will make a huge difference.

I’m running for The Lords Taverners who are the UK's leading youth cricket and disability sports charity dedicated to giving disadvantaged and disabled young people a sporting chance. This aligns with my beliefs perfectly as a PE teacher and keen sportsman. I couldn’t be happier to run for these guys.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails.
