Story
I am trekking the Great Wall of China with a great group of volunteers, for many reasons but top of that list, is that I want to raise some serious money for an incredible charity, Julia's House.
- Julia's House provide care for babies, children and young people with life shortening or life threatening conditions.
- That in itself is enough reason to don some attractive hiking boots and put ourselves to the test.
- I have seen the work and results of amazing charities, and they need our help. Now we need yours.
I think this says why you should donate. "No parent expects to live longer than their child, but for many of the families we support, this is a reality."
Simon: With the recent birth of my twin boys, I just can't imagine what some families go through when their children have life threatening conditions. We spent just 8 days in the intensive care children's ward in Hospital and I found that incredibly hard. It made me look around and realise what people are going through every single day. Julia's House support these families and children, and that is just incredible. Now I want to do everything I can to support them.
As a group, we are looking to raise £50,000+ for Julia's House.
DONATE:
This is actually quite a serious Trek, and we have to train pretty hard.
Think of all of those times at any of our events/venues/pop ups that I have bought you that drink, or looked after your group. Time to repay. Not me, but the incredible Julia's House.
Please dig deep. Every little helps. Think of the incredible work you will be supporting.
I look forward to seeing your donations :)
