We stand for everyone affected by dementia to find a cure

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page.

There are more than 520,000 people in the UK with Alzheimer's disease and it is the most common cause of dementia.

All too many of us have or will have to watch a family member or someone they are close to, suffer because of it.

I had the privilege of knowing Pamela Stacey, a lady who loved her family dearly. Watching her suffer with Alzheimer's was cruel and unfair to both her and her amazing family.  I hope never to see another family go through this same experience.

Charities like Alzheimer's Research UK are striving to find ways of getting rid of Alzheimer's once and for all. Hopefully by participating in this event, I can help in some small way in contributing towards the amazing work they are doing.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving - they'll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they'll send your money directly to the charity. So it's the most efficient way to donate - saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thank you for any donation you provide, every penny will help.
