Why Project 21?
My brother is 32 years old. He has Downs Syndrome alongside other learning difficulties. Because of this, he has always been a bit nervous of social situations. Since he has joined Project 21, he has become a different person. Someone who will say yes to joining in a group activity, playing football, even dancing.
He had struggled to make friends, not any more! Project 21 is now his second family. Every week he goes to culture club where his learns new skills and visits interesting places. Recently they visited Aldebrough lifeboat station, and danced at the British Grand Prix.
Project 21 is a space for people with Downs Syndrome to express themselves, and have a voice. They operate in Suffolk, Cambridge and Essex and are an amazing charity to support.
