Story
No pain, no gain.
I have signed up to run the Cambridge half marathon next March, it feels far off, it feels a little crazy. I have never run this far before. I will be running for the charity ROWAN, Rowan is a vibrant and active part of the art community in Cambridge working with people with learning disabilities. Rowan was set up in 1984 to improve the lives of people with learning disabilities through the provision of services and meaningful activities.
I would greatly appreciate any generous donations towards this, it will certainly spur me on to train and get in some sort of shape before the race. Five months to go!

Rowan is a vibrant, independent registered charity providing an arts centre and forest school for more than 80 adults with learning disabilities living in Cambridgeshire and the adjoining counties.Since 1984 we have provided a safe, creative, and enriching environment where the arts are used as a tool to bring people together and tackle social exclusion. We develop the skills and potential of our students while improving their happiness, health and wellbeing. We also deliver much needed respite to families and carers. It costs over £430,000 a year to run Rowan. We receive some income in student fees but rely on fundraising to cover the full cost of our workshops. We believe that people living with a disability should have the same choice, quality of life, opportunities and aspirations as others and with your support we can continue to make this possible.
