Story
Our ambulance staff and volunteers really go the extra mile to keep us all safe during challenging times. Please support me to go the extra mile for them by taking on the 'Outrun an Ambulance' challenge. The South Western Ambulance Service NHS Foundation Trust (SWASFT) provides emergency and urgent care across 10,000 square miles, serving over 5.5 million residents and over 20 million visitors each year. SWASFT crews deal with around 2,500 incidents a day across the South West. Your donations will be used to provide enhanced facilities and well-being support for crew and personnel operating from Ambulance Stations in Somerset.THANK YOU FOR YOUR SUPPORT.
Hi , just started my new adventure working for south western ambulance service (SWAST) a keen cyclist allready and have been commuting to and from work on my bike allready. I thought I would make the journeys at 0600 more worth while by easing money for my new trust and supporting colleagues and friends across somerset.
The average distance a ambulance covers per shift is 98miles. I am hoping to do double that over the course of the next week and to keep racking up the miles and doing as much as I can.
So Please support me in cycling to and from work. For four days and covering the distance of a ilminster ambulance on shift of 98 miles.
Stay safe always wear your helmet
