Story
This Sunday (17th October) I'm actually running the Cambridge Half Marathon. I thought I wouldn't make it to the start line due to various ailments (stubbed toe, hole in my heart, prolapsed disc, lack of running ability...) but it looks like I was wrong - I'll definitely be starting and I may just finish.
Now that's sunk in, I'd like to try and raise a little last-minute money. Mum died when I was 15 and Cambridge was a big part of her life as she trained at Addenbrooke' s hospital to be a nurse. I'm therefore raising money for the hospital to buy toys for children who are unfortunate enough to need to go there. The hospital can't accept toy donations due to infection reasons and therefore need to buy them so that they can put a little smile on kid's faces in unpleasant times.
Thanks so much, Ben xxx
