We provide support and information to anyone affected by cardiomyopathy

Story

Thanks for taking the time to visit my JustGiving page. I am raising money for the treatment and support of people who have Cardiomyopathy.

Cardiomyopathy literally means "heart muscle disease" and is the deterioration of actual heart muscle. It has a dramatic affect on people's loves and can be terminal as well as severely affecting people's day to day life.

The Cardiomyopathy Association helps raise money for the support of person's who suffer from Cardiomyopathy.

I run for this charity as a close friend was diagnosed with Cardiomyopathy and has had a major affect on their life.

The title of my home page this year highlights that after 15 years, two children and too many mortgages I have finally done the decent thing and proposed to my long suffering girlfriend. We will be getting married a few weeks after the London Marathon which is fast approaching which means training is even harder to fit in. Learning to run on ice and snow has been interesting as well.

Donating through JustGiving is simple, fast and totally secure. Your details are safe with JustGiving – they’ll never sell them on or send unwanted emails. Once you donate, they’ll send your money directly to the charity and make sure Gift Aid is reclaimed on every eligible donation by a UK taxpayer. So it’s the most efficient way to donate - I raise more, whilst saving time and cutting costs for the charity.

Thanks for reading and please donate. Every little helps.
