I am participating in the Dorset three peak challenge along with my colleagues on 19th June 2021, this is a charity in which gives children the opportunity to experience a day of freedom with a carer without the family worrying about the costs

The walk will start from 6am and plan to complete at 7pm that evening, covering a distance of a marathon in between the three peaks (44kilometers) it will be a tough, brutal hike, however the benefit of raising as much as possible to give young adults their freedom by providing an overnight stay with care provided is worth the pain!

By raising £265 for Diverse Abilities, you could fund an overnight stay at Lawford Lodge with 1:1 care for a young adult. Not only do they get to socialise and practise their independence, it also puts them at the centre of their care decisions as they prepare to move into the adult social care world.
