THE EXPEDITION

In the summer of 2023, the Hatters Explorer Scout Unit is delivering a once in a lifetime and life changing experience in India & the Himalayas. During my 3 week expedition I will trek and raft in the mountains, sightsee, visit important religious sites, immerse myself in local culture, and teach children in remote villages agriculture/ hygiene skills. I will also be part of the optical project that will give the gift of sight to those who cannot see due to old age and are based in remote areas meaning that they would not usually be able to access the service.

FUNDRAISING

For my  event I will be walking a marathon across North London on Saturday January 28th

Our route is Woodside Park, North along the Dollis Brook to High Barnet, Monken Hadley, Trent Park, Enfield Chase, East through Enfield via Enfield Island Village, Gilwell Park, Chingford & then Loughton
