Story
A bit about me:
Hello! My name is Revd Ben Gardner and I will be running the length of Hadrain's wall for Your Store, which is a discount food store to help people who use foodbanks become more independent
Over the next few months we, here at STB (www.stbgrangepark.org) and the Good Shepherd Church Loughborough in partnership with The Bridge, will be launching a local branch of Your Store to play our part in stamping out food poverty in Loughborough
Your donations will go towards this amazing initiative that will help many households across Shelthorpe, Loughborough and Charnwood.
A bit about the charity who are heading up this amazing project:
The Charnwood Food Poverty Group is on a mission to stamp out food poverty locally. Sadly, food poverty was already increasing prior to the pandemic. As many will know, COVID-19 has plunged more households into uncertainty than ever before, due to ill-health, shielding, furlough, redundancy and more. They are continuing to work in COVID-secure ways to ensure food provisions are provided.Every penny you donate will be crucial in helping them stamp out food poverty in Charnwood. You can find out more about the Charnwood Food Poverty Group, including a list of member organisations, your closest food services, and great recipes on their website, at www.charnwood-fpg.org.uk.Nobody deserves to go hungry; thank you.
