Heart n Soul is an award-winning creative arts company and charity. They believe in the talents and power of people with learning disabilities, providing opportunities for people to discover, develop and share this power and talent as widely as possible.

I have been working with them for over five years on a variety of projects, making comics, running workshops and even dressing up with my daughter as an Octopus and Squid!  It's a very important part of my life. 

This year they're celebrating 30 years of Heart n Soul. 'The Big 30'. As part of the celebrations they have created The Big 30 Archive, which was installed in Deptford throughout July. Funds raised through our swim will contribute to it being shown in Lewisham Library and Goldsmiths Universtity later this year- sharing what people with learning disabilities can do and achieve. 

I am swimming in the 1 mile event and my incredible Dad is swimming the 2 mile event!
