Story
A new year means a new quest to raise money for The Lily Foundation and spread awareness of this dreadful disease and I’m planning several fundraising challenges this year.
My first challenge was to run, walk, or cycle 21 miles every week in January as part of the Lily 21 Challenge - COMPLETED

NEXT up is to run 650 miles this year for Lily...there may be a few special runs coming up so watch this space and thank you so much to everyone who has donated so far!
The Lily Foundation was founded in Lily's memory, having lost her battle to Mitochondrial Disease at just eight months old. The charity aims to give hope, answers and support to the many other children and families that face the challenges of this disease today.
I have the honour of being the Chairman of the Lily Foundation and so I'm seeking to raise money and awareness for all of our Mito families but especially in the memory of Niamh, my good friend's Niall and Alison's little girl who sadly lost her fight for life against complex epilepsy and Mitochondrial.
Please join me in the fight against Mitochondrial Disease - and one day hopefully we will end our quest for a cure!
