Story
The Campaign Against Living Miserably (CALM) is leading a movement against suicide, the single biggest killer of men under the age of 45 in the UK.Anyone can hit crisis point. CALM run a free and confidential helpline and webchat 7 hours a day, 7 days a week for anyone who needs to talk about lifes problems.
If it wasn’t for great charities like CALM and the support of my family and friends, allowing me to be open about the struggles of depression, I would not be here today. Unfortunately as the stats show, not all men under 45 are lucky enough to feel they can talk.
I will be putting myself out of my comfort zone and aiming to run 100 miles in the month of February. (No mean feat for a fat middle aged man)
I am also always available for anyone in need, whether it’s to blow of steam, chat about the most mundane things or a shoulder to lean on. The most important thing to remember is it’s always good to talk!!
Please support me and support this fantastic charity.
TIA
