Story
Every day around 1,100 people will hear the words ‘you have cancer’. Over 420 of these cases could have been prevented, which is a staggering 155,000 people every year. World Cancer Research Fund are passionate about reducing this number. As part of an international network of charities, they’ve been funding life-saving research, influencing global health policy and informing the public since 1982.
I was diagnosed with testicular cancer in April 2023 and know first hand how difficult receiving a cancer diagnosis is. Following my surgery in May, I am now on the road to recovery and am raising money for this great charity so that in the future, fewer people have to go through what I did. I really appreciate any donations and thank you all for your support.
