Story
As many of you who know me may be aware, in July 2007 I had a serious accident and broke my back. Fortunately, within 18 months I had made a virtually full recovery.
In October 2021 I ran the London Marathon to raise money for the SIA (Spinal Injuries Association) in order to help people who were not as fortunate as me, and I will be doing the same again this year.
I am training hard and hope to complete the 26.2mile run in a good time.
There are around 50,000 people living with a spinal cord injury (SCI) in the UK, and approximately 2,500 people sustain or acquire a spinal cord injury each year. That's one person every eight hours!
Please help me raise some much needed funds and donate whatever you can.
Thanks
