Story
I am running the Virtual Virgin Money London Marathon on 4th October 2020 to raise money for Pancreatic Cancer Action. I have chosen to run for this charity in memory of my Grandmother who we lost to pancreatic cancer in 2014 just 6 months after diagnosis.
The rearranged event from April will now take place virtually in October due to the current pandemic, with runners all over the world running their own individual race. This will make my first ever Marathon even tougher without the fans and other runners support throughout the race. I will however have family and friends at various points for drink and fuel stations. A pint at the end will tase even better!
I am determined to complete the distance for this great charity close to my heart and I will get to run the famous London Marathon route once it can go ahead again! Bring it on!
Any donations are much appreciated!
Thanks, Ben.
