Over 150,000 of us in the UK have MS. It’s unpredictable and different for everyone. But it doesn’t have to be this way. We’re the MS Society. We understand what life’s like with MS. We're here for you through the highs, lows and everything in between. Together, we are strong enough to stop MS.

Story

Hi

We are Ben and Marina and this is our fundraising page for Stop MS.

This summer Marina and I will be travelling back to her hometown in Spain to see her family, who she has not seen for almost 2 years because of the pandemic. As a way of marking the occasion, we have decided to embark on a 1200km homeward cycle from Barcelona to the Cape of Trafalgar in the hot Spanish summer. This will be the toughest cycle either of us has ever attempted.

The reason we are doing this challenge and putting our bums on the line is that we want to support the MS Society's campaign to bring hope to those living with MS. They have committed to raising £100 million and have treatments for all types of MS in the final stages of testing by 2025.

No matter who you are, living with MS means having to learn to manage an array of physical and mental challenges every day. I've witnessed this myself as my mum has been living with MS for just under 2 decades. The process of finding the right medication, while trying to understand what life will look like post-diagnosis, is a very difficult one. This is why I believe that the Stop MS campaign is such a worthy cause.

We appreciate anything you are able to donate. Every pound will contribute to a world without MS.
