As you know Bella is a Secondary School teacher and has firsthand experience of The Trussell Trust. Sadly many people are needing to use a food bank daily and this has only increased in the last few weeks.

As a network The Trussell Trust have provided more than 1.6 million emergency food parcels to people in crisis. More than half a million of these went to children. It’s not right that people can’t afford the basics. With your help, we can help end the need for food banks.As a nation, we expect no one should be left hungry or destitute. We are rowing the channel because in May we were meant to be rowing in the World Championships for Portishead, but sadly this has been cancelled so we want to put our training to good use.
