Story
Over 30 people from Bell Plumbing Supplies are taking on the 'Helicopter' Air 30 Airbase Challenge. Each team is made up of 3 or 4 people who will be running, walking, swimming or cycling 121 miles - the distance between the three air bases - in 30 days starting on 1st April 2021.
By sponsoring our Air30 Airbase challenge you can help make a Mission Possible. Each year it costs in excess of £10 million to maintain this vital pre-hospital critical care service. Each air ambulance mission costs an average of £2,500. Each critical care car or cardiac car mission costs £224 on average. The charity does not receive funding from the Government or National Lottery for its daily missions so relies entirely on the support and generosity of local people and businesses. Since 1991 Midlands Air Ambulance have has responded to over 60,000 missions, making us one of the busiest air ambulance services in the UK.
