Story
I met Hannah at Uni in 2013 - we’ve been inseparable ever since. We both graduated in 2016 & with that we both (reluctantly) moved back to our home towns. We still spoke every single day, no matter what. However, as I started my nursing career doing my dream job, Hannah was struck down with M.E. She couldn’t start her teaching career but instead of being defeated she has used her incredible art skills & sheer determination to set up her own Etsy business. She now designs & sells greeting cards worldwide! She does everything largely from her bed but her constant positivity & spirit, despite all the challenges she faces, inspires me every single day. Right now she’s experiencing very severe symptoms & doesn’t even know I’m doing this! I hate the feeling of not being able to do anything to help her, or the estimated 250,000 others in the UK experiencing this significantly misunderstood chronic illness. So this is for you Han, to show that we’ll still get through everything together even if we’re 147 miles apart 💜
